Just in case you were longing for that old shade of pink on the iPod shuffle, it looks as if Target has come to the rescue. An eagle-eyed reader of The iPod Observer sent in a pic and noted that Target stores in Santa Maria, CA are now carrying a special edition, breast cancer awareness iPod shuffle that comes complete with a $15 iTunes Gift Card.

The article doesn't note whether the iPod shuffle is sold for the standard shuffle price of $79 or whether it's being sold for more (or less). It does, however, note that the pink color appears to match what used to be the pink iPod shuffles before the revamped color line came about. It could, in fact, be a second-gen model. But that's neither here nor there.

If you're interested in supporting the fight against breast cancer, want a pink iPod, and would like a $15 iTunes credit, then roll on down to Target and check them out. Let us know if you happen to see them around outside of the Santa Maria area, too. (Image thanks to iPod Observer.)
